Mirrored Furniture

Ever heard of mirrored furniture?  You have if you’ve read this home blog before.  I wrote about mirrored bedroom furniture previously, but today I’m going to recommend some beautiful pieces to go into your living room.

Two styles of decor I love are the Two-Door Mirrored Chest and Tuxedo mirrored chest from Horchow.  The two-door is $599.90 and the Tuxedo is $399.90.  Imagine having these up against your living room wall.  I also love their “Hannah” Mirrored Chest but I can’t see it looking good in my living room and it would cost over $1,200 total.

Although it’s a little bulky, the John-Richard Collection Mirrored Cube at Neiman Marcus could easily function as a side table if you have a bulky sofa.  It’s $799 which is on the high side, but you are getting a lot of mirrors for your dollar, or at least a lot of mirror space.

Back on the chests, if you’re going for an emblem, embossed look, you have got to see the “Equis” mirrored chest also at Neiman Marcus.  It looks absolutely stunning and takes on a caramel color in the picture.  You can get a discount on this at Glam Furniture.  It’s only $597 on sale which makes it $100 cheaper than Glam Furniture.

The only table I halfway liked was the  Borghese Mirrored Cocktail Table, also at Glam Furniture.  Otherwise, I’m not a fan of the antique-looking, short antique tables with bowed legs.  They only match a completely antique room which is not a look I’m going for.

By the way, there seems to be a little bit of confusion on the terminology.  This type of furniture is called mirrored furniture, not mirror furniture.

Besides the above stores, you can also buy at Target, JC Pennys, Pier 1 Imports, Shades of Light, Julian Chichester, Grace Homes, Oly Studio, Graham and Green, Bloomingdales, Not Just Mirrors, Porada, Overstock, the French Furniture Company, At Home Accents, Venfield NYC, Pottery Barn, Tuesday Morning, Anthropology, as well as a few other stores and shops.

I’m personally a big fan of this unique style.  It really adds elegance and style to a home.  You’ll also be the beneficiary of a room that actually looks bigger and brighter because of the furniture you select.  The other huge advantage is mirrors match any color pattern or scheme you’re currently employing.  Mirrored furniture has become very trendy and super popular in modern home decor because of these reasons.
