How does saving $20 on the Kindle Fire sound to you? It’s not conventional but I promise you this Kindle Fire discountblog isn’t some empty trick that will leave you pissed off.
Ok to get your discount, you need to go to a local Office Max. Right now through November 19, Office Max is selling Amazon gift cards, buy 2 $25 gift cards get $5 off. Read: You’re getting 10% free money.
For those of you who need it spelled out, for every $50 you spend, you’re getting $5 off. That’s 10% off on Amazon Gift Cards. If you buy $200 worth of gift cards, that comes to $20 off. This is the same thing as getting a 10% discount on the Amazon Kindle, it’s just via engineering a discount on gift cards.
The catch is you must do this offline at a local Office Max and supplies are always limited.
If it’s past 11/19 and you came to the party too late, there’s still a beer in the fridge and a few stray slices of pizza hanging around. Here’s how you can still use some clever engineering to get a discount on the Amazon Kindle Fire (or I guess other Kindles for that matter):

Rumor has it (I haven’t confirmed this first hand) that Best Buy will allow you to purchase Amazon or Kindle gift cards with Best Buy gift cards. So you buy a Best Buy gift certificate or gift card at a discounted price online (say 5 to 8% off) and then use that discounted gift card to buy your Amazon Gift Card to buy your Kindle.
I’m not saying this 100% works because I haven’t done it but a very reliable source (my friend) said he has done this successfully in November 2011.
