Protein Mixer
I use whey protein powder and let me tell you, it sucked when I was trying to dissolve the protein with a spoon and a cup. I highly recommend you use a protein mixer. Whey protein mixers are actually pretty cheap and save you a bunch of time and muscle recovery.
The last thing you want to do is ingest a bunch of clumps of protein. For one, this doesn’t digest well and for two, it tastes horrible. If you’re a serious user of whey protein powder, you need to get a protein powder mixer to dissolve the protein into small particles within the milk, water, or whatever beverage you use with your protein powder.
You may have a protein shaker. I’ve been down this route. While whey protein shakers can mix up your protein powder, they often don’t do the thorough and complete mincing job that a protein blender or mixer will do. I don’t know about you, but I like the protein shake to be almost like I’m drinking chocolate milk or an ice cream shake depending on if I put ice cream in it.
I recommend the
Bodybuilding.com Tornado Mixer, 18 Fl Oz. It’s a dirt cheap protein mixer at $11.99 (compare this to any worthwhile blender) and as long as it lasts 8 months, it will save you a ton of time when you think about how much time you spend hand stirring.
